Cannock Chase Visitor's Centre in Marquis Drive and the surrounding area was the venue for this multi-period event which followed how Cannock Chase has been used since pre-historic times.

The Birmingham Pals put on displays of kit and equipment in the Living History camp, as well as giving arena displays of combat drill and blank firing.

The Tunnelling and Mine Rescue Section showed how the specialists fought a subterranean war - this was particularly relevent as many came from the coal mines of the surrounding areas.
