Running Between The Lines
with The Birchfield Harriers
at The Alexander Stadium

Saturday 3 September 2016

Birchfield Harriers have a WW1 project commemorating the members of the running club who signed up for service during The Great War.

As a part of this project they organised a "Retro" sporting event where races were run over imperial distances.  A series of fun events had been planned, however most of these had to be cancelled due very poor weather conditions.  A few events did take place, including an open entry mile race and a mile fun run.  This also affected attendance at the event.

The event was attended as a part of The Birmingham Pals Living History Association.
