Carols in the Trenches

Saturday 12 December 2015

Each year The Staffordshire Regiment Museum hold a carol service in the Trenches.

Members of the public join re-enactors and museum staff in the trenches to sing carols and listen to readings.

Re-enactors then portray the 1914 Christmas Truce when soldiers from both sides met on No Mans Land to talk and exchange small gifts.
