WW1 Recruiting Station

A Recruiting Station in action.

High House, Stafford - Saturday 2 August 2014.

Some members of the Infantry Section of The Birmingham Pals were at The Ancient High House in Stafford Town Centre as a part of the town's First World War Centenary commemorations.

We put on a display of equipment, including gas masks and rifles, and displayed recruitment posters.
One floor of the museum is dedicated to The Staffordshire Yeomanry.
Other floors of the museum tell the story of the Ancient High House and it's royal visitors, as well as aspects of life through the ages.
